Just a reminder to bring in money for our scholarship bake sale on February 14th.  This will help benefit our scholarship fund for a John Jay High School Senior who previously attended Fishkill Plains.

Deadline for entries: February 15th.  One student from each grade level will have his or her comic book published and displayed in the library.  Each published author will receive a $15.00 gift certificated to Barnes & Noble.

It is time once again for our PTA sponsored incentive program, Shining Stars.  It will run for 5 months beginning in February.  Each month, one grade level will be picked to write a sentence, under the direction of his teach, on what the "Virtue of the Month" means to him.  It will be acknowledged on the Shining Stars board, outside the cafeteria.
When this is completed by the whole grade level, they will be given an cafeteria ice cream party, provided by the PTA.
We hope to make this an excellent way to bring out the "goodness" in each student!

During the school year, many of you are involved in different activites in your child's classroom.  If you have taken any pictures that you would like to share with the yearbook staff, it would be greatly appreciated.
Pictures can be sent to school in an envelope marked "PTA - Yearbook Pictures."
We are also asking the 5th grade parents to send in a picture of their 5th grader as a baby for the "Guess Who" page of the yearbook.  All pictures are due in school by March 15th.
