This book tells the lives of four sisters from Nova Scotia living in pre
World War One era to the Jazz Age and the depression. Themes include pain,
death, joy, triumph, but the best of all is the theme of love for one's
family. Warped family structures and twisted relationships kept me reading
into the night!
