Drama ClubDrama ClubThe Oak Grove Drama
Club meets every Wednesday morning at 8:00. 
The
club is open to all 4th and 5th graders. The students will become
familiar with the structure of a play, read some plays and practice
skits in small groups during meetings.
This year the club members will be working on the play MGTV (Mother Goose TV). Mother Goose and the Brothers Grimm have been in competition for over 200 years. The poor Big Bad Wolf is caught in the middle of the feuding. Mother Goose goes on vacation and leaves Simple Simon in charge. Simon spends money like crazy and the Goose employees go on strike. The only way to get them back to work and save the company is for Simple Simon to appear on fairy tale TV with the Brothers Grimm. Unfortunately, the Brothers Grimm know Mother Goose is on vacation and play to sabotage the Mother Goose presentation, destroying her company once and for all.
The Drama Club Performance of MGTV will be in early May.
