and become part of the stock market process. This will result
in debates, data analysis, research, current event articles,

Kits for "Reading in the Content Area" Component (Integrates

- Science 21 program currently includes a component that
incorporates the integration of literacy. An inventory will be
conducted so that teachers have the necessary resources.
- Mini- workshops will be provided to discuss how to utilize
this component of Science 21 to foster the literacy connection.

- Additional Big Books and text will be purchased that focus
on math, science, and social studies topics to support ELA curriculum
which can be incorporated into Read Alouds, Shared Reading, and

- Each grade level will discuss the daily weather in
a variety of ways (graphing, predicting,
comparing and contrasting,
