SLTSLTThe School Leadership Team (SLT) is a group of Oak Grove parents and staff members whose goal is to provide activities for students and families that support and enhance learning. All of the businesses in the Oak Grove Village are under the umbrella of the SLT. These businesses are:
Many parent volunteers work with teachers, staff and especially students to run these businesses.
Family events, which help build the home-school partnership, are also part of the SLT mission. In the past, the team sponsored Ice Cream Socials, a Family Fun Night, and Pajama Night. This year, the SLT will host two Ice Cream Socials and is also looking forward to having a Math Carnival in conjunction with the PTA's Math Enrichment Week.
For the past three summers, the SLT has offered a summer reading camp. The Summer Reading Roundup will be offered again this summer to students completing kindergarten, first and second grades. More details will be coming soon.
The SLT welcomes new members. If you are interested in joining this group, please call Mrs. Kirsch at Oak Grove Elementary School.
