An acrostic is to take the letters of your stone and write one or more facts for each letter.

Example: QUARTZ

Quite difficult to scratch, quartz has a hardness of 7.

Used in making glass, lenses, radios, tvs and clocks.

Amethyst is a purple colored quartz.

Rock crystal is pure quartz and is used to make jewelry.

To find quartz, look for crystals with six sides.

Zip to India, Uruguay, or Brazil to find the finest amethyst quartz.
