Drama ClubOak Grove's Drama
Club is pleased to announce that this year's production will be
Disney's Jungle Book! Acorn Actors will perform this lively musical
three times. On March 18th the Acorn Actors will perform twice
for the school, and on March 19th we will have our evening performance
at 7:00. Ms. Saunders and Mrs. Roe are very excited to work with
all of the Acorn Actors to put on this memorable musical production!
The Acorn Actors
will meet on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings at 8:00, following
the Drama Club calendar. Near production dates, meetings will
begin at 7:45 a.m. Fifth graders are welcome to join, and we
will be having auditions for a limited number of parts. All children
may audition, but not all children will be assigned speaking or
starring roles. There is also a need for stage managers, props
crew, set crew and light crew.
Being a member of
the Acorn Actors does require a commitment. Members must attend
every rehearsal and will be required to attend multiple sessions
per week near our production dates. If more than three rehearsals
are missed, members will be cut from the production. In the event
of a snow delay, meetings will begin at 10:00 a.m.
