John Jay faculty and staff would like to wish students and their families a happy, safe, and enjoyable summer. The 2008-2009 school year begins for students on Wednesday, September 3rd, we look forward to seeing you in the Fall.
Festival of the Arts
Festival of the Arts is held every year at Mieser Park. Every school from Wappingers Central School District attends. The students from each school showcased artwork for their family and friends as well as members from the community to see. A variety of activities such as: coloring t-shirts, throwing clay, and making paper hats kept guest entertained for hours. Local school bands provide the music and live entertainment for people to enjoy.
Wappingers Crew Club in Saratoga
On Saturday, May 10th and Sunday, May 11th the Wappingers Crew Club traveled to Saratoga, NY for the New York State Championships. Over 50 students between John Jay and Roy C. Ketcham High School participated in this event. Congratulations on an awesome weekend.
