Learning Center

What is the Learning Center?
The Learning Center an essential part of our John Jay community where fellow students have the opportunity go help and guide each other study.

When and where do I go?
The Learning center is located on the first floor, in the center wing, in room 132. It is open from 3rd period until 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. You may tutor or be tutored during the day in a free period, or after school.

How can I join?
If you are interested in joining the Learning Center, see Ms. Davis in room 132 and she will have you sign up.

Why Join:

If you are in need of help in a certain subject, or wish to help others in that area, then you should join the Learning Center. Becoming a tutor is quite a responsibility, so be prepared to take on the role of a teacher. Sometimes students can more easily comprehend material from a peer rather than from a teacher Remember that you can make a difference in your life or someone else's by offering a helping hand.
