National Honor Society

 

What is the National Honor Society?
The National Honor Society is an organization whose members are chosen based upon leadership, service, citizenship, scholarship, and character.

When and where are the meetings?
Every other Wednesday @ 2pm in Room 128

Who are the members of the club?
The members of this club are students who have excelled academically. Students must be willing to volunteer their time to help others.

How can I join?
In order to become a candidate for NHS membership, you must have an accumulative grade point average of 88.5 at mid-point of junior year and no referrals. Our Faculty Council bases student selection into this prestigious society on a careful evaluation of the submitted essay, and your scholarship, leadership, service, and character.

What did the Club do this year?
This year the club conducted a sign up and helped run a blood drive. They also set up and ran a dodge ball tournament. In addition the club sold bracelets to help support tsunami victims.
