Welcome to the Winter that wasn't!

While the students are mourning the lack of snow falling from the sky this winter, the teachers are celebrating.  The lack of snow days has allowed teachers to continue doing what they do best--making children lifelong learners in their classrooms.

Myers is going to be embarking on a very exciting project this month.  Pretty soon, all students in grades 4-6 will be putting their handprint on a wall in the school and will also sign their handprint.   Students will be asked to contribute a small donation.  This project will not only brighten the halls of Myers Corners for years to come, but will also give students a legacy when they leave elementary school behind--a piece of them that will stay here.  In addition, it will help the students to feel connected to the school and take pride in where they come every day.  After this year, every fourth grade class will put their handprints up leaving a lasting imprint.  We're very excited to be starting this project.
